High contribution work provide a material advance for the company / project

High visibility work will be seen by individuals of influence

When deciding what work to do, follow these rules:

1. Avoid Low Contribution work.

Doing something that doesn’t make a material difference is not worth the effort

2. Seek out high contribution, high visibility work

This will build your reputation amongst individuals of influence

3. Take on High Contribution, Low Visibility work ONLY if you have a plan to build the visibility of the output.

Otherwise your work will go unrecognised and won't contribute towards your reputation & personal progression
