This got me triggered, now here's an interesting thought:

Not a single soul can predict what kind of demand will be the basis of a global economy.

Our value chain will adapt to a certain groundbreaking innovation that will override everything that once was. https://twitter.com/juliorionaldo/status/1257120299176394752
This is the core idea of an industrial revolution (henceforth IR).

Capital market values rise and fall according to the test of time:
The most valuable enterprises during the 2rd IR were steel, automobiles, & logistics. In the 3rd, we saw the rise of computers & electronics.
Come the 4th, now our global capital market valuation is dominated by tech & internet companies.

Amazon, Google, Facebook (even goddamned TikTok) skyrockets because that is what this current market demands.
Businesses, jobs, careers, lifestyles, that cannot adapt to the said demand foundation, will eventually become obsolete. They will be as relics of days gone.

In order to survive, we must either develop ourselves so we could adapt well, or be the groundreaking innovator itself.
Now bear with me here, I wonder what will happen when the 5th Industrial Revolution beckons?

Robotics, artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, space mining & colonization, interstellar travel and other things science fiction could possibly be just right 'round the corner.
Perhaps this is why it is wise to always have an ex-ante framework of mind.

Never linger for too long in our comfort zone, the will to improve must be paramount. We may never know when will the ground breaks again.
My mind wanders:

This where the thought of a degree like "LL.M. in Artificial Intelligence" or an "M.B.A. in Robotics" can become a wealth force multiplier for the forseeable future.
Mark this thread 5 years from now. Artificial Intelligence will become *THE* hot prospect when Industry 5.0 beckons.

Whoever holds a major equity in the sector will become the next Bill Gates/Jeff Bezos/Steve Jobs.
