Games I& #39;ve completed this year, and my thoughts on them thread:
Ok, so most of this year I& #39;ve been playing through the Kingdom Hearts series, so most of this is going to be about KH, but other games too along the way
Kingdom Hearts FINAL MIX:

Technically I beat this game on new years eve, but I& #39;m still gonna count it anyways. My first experience with Kingdom Hearts. Honestly I thought this game was fine, there was nothing really in particular that I found great about it, and also I found the
last few bosses really difficult to beat, almost to the point where I wanted to give up on the series but I managed to beat them quickly after that. Still wanted to give this series a chance, so I kept playing.
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories:
If you read my thoughts on Kingdom Hearts 1, you may of thought that I would& #39;ve likely quit playing at this point. Nah, I decided to play through one of the worst games in the series anyway! The story was amazing though, which is what kept

-me from dropping the series. The gameplay? Fucking terrible. Please shoot me, I never want to do it again. Plus not only do you have to beat this as Sora, you have to beat it as Riku too, thankfully Riku& #39;s was shorter than Sora though. The worlds were also so boring.
Kingdom Hearts 2 FINAL MIX:
Not only did this game improve the combat by a huge margin, the story was soo good. The ending was amazing too, it made me cry a lot. At first I wasn& #39;t used to the new stuff this game offered like the way the gummi ships worked, but I eventually

came to like it more in the end. The worlds were wayyyy better than 1 as well. This game 100% revived my interest in the Kingdom Hearts series, and I eventually beat all of the games. Already said it, but the ending was amazing, and felt very satisfying as a way to close the game
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days:
This game was in the collection I got on PS4, but you actually only watched the remastered cutscenes. In any case, in terms of story this game was awesome. I don& #39;t regret watching this after 2, as it felt good to finally uncover all of the mysteries

that were unanswered in 2. The story was so fucking sad too. I heard this game sucks playing it on the DS, but in terms of my experience with the game by watching the cutscenes, I really liked it.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX:
I love this game. At first, I really questioned the unnecessary addition to 3 new characters, but as the story unfolded, I came to appreciate what they did with them. The three routes were very short and I was able to beat them in one-

sitting, but playing this game from the perspective of three different characters was a very nice treat indeed.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded:
Well, what can I say that other people haven& #39;t? Fuck this game. It literally has little to no effect on the grand scheme of the Kingdom Hearts story, and plus it was really boring to watch through. I feel bad for anyone who actually played this game.

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance:
I really like the addition of the flow motion mechanics. Felt like it was kinda questionable how you had dream eaters as party members, but it was never really a problem for me. Overall, this game was pretty fun, managed to beat it in 3 days.

Kingdom Hearts Back Cover Movie:
Well, this was a movie, but I may as well give my thoughts on it. At first, I honestly wondered what the hell am I watching, but nearing the end, I realized what this movie was actually all about. Not much to really say about it.

Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A fragmentary passage:
Very short game, but the transition from the PS2 graphics to an actual HD game was very pleasing, but felt a little weird at first since the game was no longer running in 60 fps. Was really cool to see what happened

after the events of Birth by Sleep, which I was really curious about finding out.
Kingdom Hearts 3:
I really enjoyed this game. The worlds were fucking amazing, especially the Caribbean. In my opinion, the story was really good too. It felt like I was finally closing the long adventure that was Kingdom Hearts. However, the one thing they did with the ending

ruined almost everything for me, it basically made the ending feel very disappointing. I won& #39;t say what it was since I don& #39;t wanna spoil anyone who may come across this thread, but the ending didn& #39;t feel very good to me.
Also got the platinum trophy for the game.

Persona 5 Royal:

a game with so much content, and so much stuff to do, feel kinda lacking?? Anyways, I was going to originally say that this game wasn& #39;t worth playing from just that, until I got to the third semester, and holy fucking shit was it good. It& #39;s so weird to me how they were able
to make an already perfect ending, even better. I actually recommend anyone going for the royal true ending to know what happens in the og ending as it makes everything a lot easier to understand.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
Decided to hold off giving my opinion on this game until I beat the whole series. So, I played TTH back in May. Going into it, I had no idea what to expect. Before I played it I thought I wouldn& #39;t like it, but I ended up absolutely loving-

this game. Even if its just a visual novel, the music, story, and characters make it a fairly immersive experience. I always felt curious to uncover the mysteries, and find out what happens next. Definitely one of the better games I have played.
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
My first impressions of this game upon beating the prologue, and the first two chapters is that it felt like I was playing the same game all over again. I have never been so wrong. This game from middle to end was truly an amazing experience.

I& #39;m so glad I decided to keep playing as DR2 easily surpassed 1 when I really got into the midway part of the story. I also grew a lot more attached to this game& #39;s cast than the last one. Amazing game, just like the first one.
Persona 4 Golden:

events with the cast such as going ski-ing. The characters in this game are so good, and feel like real friends. The story is also really great, and Golden fixed a lot of things I didn& #39;t like about the original. I do think that the new dungeon was kind of lacking, but it was-
still a great game. Probably my favorite persona game now with 3.
Danganronpa Another Episode: UDG
I really liked this game. The gameplay was pretty fun, and I enjoyed the story quite a bit. It was really nice learning more about Naegi& #39;s little sister, Komaru. This game also completely changed my opinion of Toko. I used to hate her from DR1-

but this game really shows a side of Toko that you don& #39;t see in 1 which made me come to appreciate her character. Fun game.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony -
Despite what others may think of this game, I absolutely LOVED it. Unlike 2, I was hooked from the first trial and enjoyed every single one. This game was so unpredictable, there were so many moments that just kinda make your jaw drop.

I also really enjoyed this cast of characters a lot, and the overall message and themes the game tries to deliver really resonate with me more than the other Danganronpas. Beating this game honestly gave me post-game depression, it& #39;s hard to believe that I finished the final game
XenoblaDE:
I forgot to put this on this thread until now lol. I beat this literally on the first week of release. I beat the original prior to playing this, and by far its still my favorite game. What has to be said about this game has already been said. I love how DE
