One strong message that #TheWorldoftheMarried aims to convey is the reality that even after centuries-old fight against sexism and misogny, women are still at the receiving end of violence, abuse, prejudices, double standards, and stereotypes.
Women get beaten, harassed, and trampled upon simply because they're women. Worse, they're told to stay in an abusive relationship and are even forced to forgive their perpetrators.

Society wants them to be mental institutions for abusive and unstable men.
When both sexes commit a mistake, it's always the woman who gets judged harshly. Men get to walk away scot-free (some are even praised). Smh. 🤦‍♀️
They're criticized for being either "too competitive and ambitious" or for "not being enough".
And when you decide to speak up, you will be labeled as "emotional" or "nag-iinarte".
Thus, along with breaking the culture of abuse and rape our society has, we must also break these prejudices and double standards. We still have a long way to go.

But just like what Dr. Sul said, let's not lose our fight.
