in Horowitz Report, the person denoted as Supervisory Intel Analyst was one of the most important figures in Russiagate investigation, but remains unidentified and, to my knowledge, uninterviewed by any congressional committee.

2/ the Supervisory Intel Analyst (SIA) was on Crossfire Hurricane team at its inception, was at Steele Oct 2016 interview and Primary Sub-Source and Ohr interviews in Jan 2017. Was primary author of several key documents. But under baroque civil service protections in US, he's

3/ one civil service grade to be identified. I'm pretty sure that I've spotted the right guy. I'll describe the identification as I followed a different trail. The thread will thus be a little longer than really necessary, but it should be interesting.

4/ in the most recent document drop, I had spent time reverse engineering the author of a key email on Crossfire Razor, which was a reply to an earlier email in which one name was redacted. By character count, it was long name from OGC. So it was Kevin Clinesmith, not Sally Moyer

5/ So Clinesmith was indicated as author of the top email, but could I also show that the email address fit? I looked up email style for both Clinesmith and Corsi in leaked Jar2 file http://www.jar2.com/Files/FBI.txt  and deduced keclinesmith[@] http://ic.fbi.gov  which fit exactly

6/ I looked back at an earlier drop of Strzok-Page emails to check on whether they had any unredacted info on email addresses and, by chance, noticed the name of an FBI agent that wasn't in my list: Rouda M. Feghali. A new rabbit hole.

7/ I googled "Rouda Feghali" and read a Nov 2018 thread by @realZiggli (someone I was unaware of) on the FBI which https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1068548324977008641.html mentioned Feghali in connection with Jonathan Moffa, Horowitz' Intel Section Chief, and an August 10 visit by Moffa to White House

8/ note that there was an error in the sub-headline above, as Feghali did not visit White House in 2016, but in 2009 - an error identified by Ziggli himself. But the Moffa visit was interesting. Who else was on the visit?

9/ August 10 was also an interesting date, as it was just as Crossfire Hurricane was organizing and just before Flynn added. Anyhow, others were Christopher Bort, Dennis Thatcher and Matthew Smith. Who were they?

10/ I was familiar with Bort's name as he was one of most frequent correspondents in hacked Robert Otto emails - the tranche that included a famous picture of Natalia Veselnitskaya's house just before Trump Tower meeting.

Bort was NSC's National Intelligence Officer for Russia.

11/ Bort (h/t FN and walkafyre) is also Eric Ciaramella's current boss. Small world.

So Moffa's August 10 meeting definitely about Russia.

12/ I google Dennis Thatcher with some combinations, eventually "Dennis Thatcher, Washington" and got this fellow on Linked In. https://www.linkedin.com/in/dennis-thrasher-48802b199/ A Supervisory Intel Analyst with FBI in Washington DC. Bingo.

13/ Matthew Smith (h/t @walkafyre) will be this guy https://www.linkedin.com/in/mzsmith/  Director, Cybersecurity Solutions, Dept of Homeland Security.

14/ now look back at who Moffa, Bort, Thatcher and Smith were meeting on Aug 10: Denis McDonough, Obama's Chief of Staff. This was a big-time meeting.

5/ Later that day (August 10), after the meeting with Obama's Chief of Staff in White House, Moffa (Intel Section Chief), Thrasher (SIA) and Crossfire Hurricane team opened counterintelligence cases on Page, Manafort, and Papadopoulos.

16/ I inadvertently said "Thatcher" instead of the correct "Thrasher" in earlier tweet, but correct name is clear from supporting documentation. (Dennis Thatcher was Margaret Thatcher's husband.)

17/ one last data point on issue raised by walkafyre. There is a document entitled SIA Notes which has author with 15 redacted characters. Previously we had thought that redaction was "SIA 1234567891" - 11 character fname lname. But "Dennis Thrasher" fits at exactly 15 characters

18/ I mentioned that I started this exercise by deducing that crooked FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith was one of the "Magnificent Three" emailed by Strzok.

Clinesmith and SIA [Thrasher] both feature in footnote 389, which has been of great interest to me recently.

First, a small world coincidence. Both Clinesmith and Thrasher are about the same age and both Michigan State alumni from mid-2000s and both very keen fans of Michigan State Spartans.

20/ footnote 389 reports that SIA [Thrasher] (who attended Primary Sub-Source interview) wrote OGC Attorney (Clinesmith) to say that PSS was not ["Russian-based"] as stated in FISA warrant and requested correction. Which Clinesmith failed to make.

21/ readers will recall that Clinesmith also failed to disclose Carter Page's prior association with [CIA] and even forged a change to the email from the CIA to falsely say that Page had no association with agency.

22/ on social media (h/t FN and walkafyre), Thrasher identified himself as one of #comeyshomies in Feb 2018

24/ one caveat to this thread. Thrasher is from Cyber, while the SIA of Crossfire Hurricane team reported to Moffa i.e. would be in Counterintelligence. So that would put Thrasher in the "fusion cell", but not necessarily in Crossfire Hurricane (tho he might be.) I put it 50-50.

24/ either way, it doesn't impact the most interesting result in the thread: Moffa, Thrasher and others meeting with Obama chief of staff on the morning of Aug 10, the day that cases were opened on Page, Manafort and Papadopoulos (tho all discussed on Jul 29 even before CH opened

25/ I mentioned upthread that Bort was frequent correspondent in hacked Robert Otto emails - both using gmail accounts, like many other federal civil servants and Hillary Clinton trying to keep emails out of public records. Most famous email shown below.

26/ three days before Trump Tower meeting, senior State Dept official Otto received forwarded email from notorious fraudster Bill Browder with picture of Veselnitskaya's house, showing that Browder knew where she lived.

27/ for context, and it's hard to understand, Fusion GPS was supporting Veselnitskaya against Browder and, in my opinion, Fusion was on the righteous side of this dispute - hard as that seems to believe. But the unrighteousness of Browder seems to me to be solid ground.

28/ that Otto and Bort were corresponding off-book with Browder ought to be disquieting to impartial observers.
