It's Xenoblade month! Gonna be postin stuff until it comes out, starting with a low intensity ambient theme. Love it when tracks slowly introduce instruments, esp percussion stuff like the cymbal striking (?) here at the beginning

In comparison to the above, this one's trying a "little" harder to elicit an emotional response. Sounds melancholic to me, almost overbearingly so with strings just going ham the further the track goes, before looping it back around to a solo piano piece.

Related note: A big trailer was released for the game covering story, gameplay and the newly added Epilogue. What has me most excited about this is that the backing music for the epilogue bit sounds close to a battle theme in the style of XBC2's DLC

That DLC imo has the best standard battle theme out of the entire Xenoblade series so far, so if it's more of that, I'll be over the moon :p Kenji Hiramatsu got big points in my book for that one.

Also curious to hear how the team arranged the OST. Are they getting Yoko Shimomura back to have her arrange some of her tracks that she did or will it be ACE+ and Manami Kiyota exclusively? Either way, I am hoping that I'll feel conflicted about which is the better one
