TRIGGER WARNINGOn July 2016 32 year old philando Castile was shot and killed by a police officer while pulled over for a busted tail light.
He notified the police officer that he had a licensed firearm in the vehicle and the officer told him not to grab it, Philando said that he wasn’t going to and continued to reach for his licensed in his pocket.
The police officer then shot him out of fear and Philando died at the scene. Philando was driving with his girlfriend and child at the time and this video was released of the women and the young girl in the back of the police car.
This is just extremely heartbreaking and this is what we mean when we say black lives matter, it’s 2020 and there is still racism in this world, even know this was nearly 4 years ago doesn’t mean this isn’t happening today equality is important.
