ok time to put together my raph thoughts, key episodes ill reference r man vs sewer, pizza pit and pizza puffs

theories heavily supported or are just canon:
- raph has some sort of dissociative disorder, possibly DID
- raph has claustrophobia
- raph has a fear of mrs cuddles

theories i have that are speculation based on the above:
- raph experienced an attempted kidnapping at a young age
- possibly a mrs cuddles doll was involved?
- may have been the dentist guy alex noe from todd scouts (interest in unique teeth, specifically raphs after the ep)

theories that r straight-up just me being hopeful
- could have also been kidnapped alongside a young usagi? this screenshot from the mrs cuddles ep shows a rabbit that also does not look at all like mrs cuddles, this could obviously be exaggeration but also i can dream

thoughts on man vs sewer:
while not the first clue we’ve gotten to raphs mental state, this episode showed the most hardcore evidence for it. as well as the obvious identity switch, the word usage (‘maybe this raph has seen our raph!’ ‘not raph, staking my life on it’)

raph also doesnt remember anything about the episode, (‘uh oh. did i get weird again?’) which is why im leaning more towards it being DID rather than OSDD-1. raphs switch was triggered by being ‘lost, scared, and very alone’, and im thinking alone raph is a protector alter

pizza pit and evil league have a little evidence, with raph talking to himself in the 3rd person and his brothers pointing it out (but not being super bothered by it). obviously raph refers to himself in 3rd person a lot but not often is it pointed out

pizza puffs just went HAM with further evidence i swear ok so . obviously at the beginning of the episode raph was doing his hero thing as the ‘red angel of preventing harm’ (sidenote: love this nerd), and talked to what appeared to be another alter throughout the episode

this alter (im calling them red) seemed more assertive and oriented around making his brothers take responsibility themselves. from the research ive been doing, red is most likely a persecutor alter

update i didnt know before making this thread that usagi is a crossover character so ignore the usagi theory gamers

post-finale update!
- raphs upgraded power was making copies of himself to fool enemies
- it has also been confirmed by a writer that mrs cuddles was a yokai, and was simply an irrational fear of raphs
- i have since developed my theories on dr noe also!
