Can we imagine a story where Harry Potter universe ws influenced by Krishna’s story. I wil try to take you into this thought process of mine. My intention s not to hurt any dharmic sentiments.

If you look into the prophecy story.
In HP, Voldemort tries to hunt James and Lily’s son as he believes in a prophecy which has told that he will be killed by that child.

In Krishna’s life – Kansa has imprisoned and tortures Vasudeva and Devaki and wants to kill their child as he believes in a prophecy that their child will bring his end.

The prophecy in HP series states that the “child will be born as the seventh month dies”, meaning he will be born in end of July. In Krishna’s tale, Kamsa learns that the 8th son of Devaki will bring down his life. Both are born in July.

Krishna is believed to be born on July end, some say July 18/21st. We have Vishnudharmottara Purana saying Krishna Ashtami is in the Bhadrapada month and Skanda Purana stating that it falls in the month of Shravana. Both are right as they follow Souramana/Chaandramaana calendar.

Prophecy in HP is said by Sybil Trelawney while in Krishna’s case, Kansa hears it after throwing YogaMaya (Devi) into the air. Both give high importance to women in their world. YogaMaya is the child born in Yashoda’s womb on the same day as Krishna.

2 children born at same time. Similarly in HP we have Neville Longbottom born on same day as Harry.

Harry has Dudley as cousin while Krishna had Balarma. Only difference here is Balaram loved Krishna unlike Dudley - Harry.

Dumbledore ensures Harry stays with his aunt and uncle for safekeeping. Here, Krishna stays in Nandagokula under the care of his fosterparents Nanda and Yashoda.. In HP series, Dementors to trouble Harry. Kansa sends demons to kill Krishna in Nandagokula.

In HP verse, Harry is a Parselmouth – he can talk to snakes. SriKrishna also talks to snakes as he has conversation with Kaliya during Kaliyamardanam as described in the Bhagavata purana. Krishna spares Kaliya’s life and lets him free.

Kaliya vs Basilisk.
Kalindi vs Chamber of Secrets

The lake of Kalindi where Kâliya resided and its water boiled because of the fire of his poison. Birds flying over it would fall [dead] into its waters. Similarly Basilisk resided in Chamber of secrets in HP verse.

Krishna descends into the water body and subdues it by getting on top of its head and dancing along with playing his flute. In HP, Basilisk, giant serpent which is highly venomous resides inside Chamber of secrets and those who come in contact with its poison or see it r killed

Harry descends into the Chamber similar to Krishna entering the lake and kills the Basilisk by getting on top of Salazar Slytherin’s statue and using the Sword of Godric Griffyndor similar to Krishna getting on top of Kaliya and using the flute.

Kaliya had enemity wit Garuda. In HP, Basilisk has Fawkes, as its enemy. Kaliya will hide in a lake of Kalindi while Basilisk will reside in the Chamber of secrets. Garuda has fought off Kaliya and driven it from Ramanaka earlier similar to Phoenix fighting the Basilisk.
