Here's an idea: For all of May, I'll make a thread posting one clip from each movie or TV show I like from varying franchises or titles. One clip per day.
DAY 1: #SpongeBobSquarepants

This TV show's episode is Opposite Day, where the plucky sponge and his starfish friend Patrick take Squidward's comments on Opposite Day too seriously. It's my favorite non-Band Geeks, non-special episode of the series for how backwards it gets.
DAY 2: #Spaceballs

This scene revolves around the fact that there's an actual VHS of the movie long before the movie's even finished. I want to when this scene was made (probably long after the movie is done, but I'm probably wrong)
DAY 3: #SpiderMan

This movie just turned 18, and I want to focus on this scene. Spider-Man and Green Goblin each have opposing views on what they want to do with New York, but it also mirrors how Norman wants to see Peter as a son before the Goblin persona cornered his own mind.
DAY 4: #SchindlersList

Oskar Schindler breaks down after feeling he could have done more; despite his guilt, he was able to keep a large group of Jewish workers alive. The ring he was given is engraved with the quote, "Whoever saves one life saves the world entire."
DAY 5: #ToyStory2

After Woody shows off his history as a being part of his Roundup show, Buzz argues with him that he needs to return to Andy. The cowboy doll, on the other hand, refuses to tag along with the gang and even said he's done with Andy, much to Buzz's disappointment
DAY 6: #Robocop

Dick Jones is exposed for his murder by the damaged but still functional Robocop and is shot right after he's fired and hit in the gut by the OCP chairman. After he's asked what his name is, Robocop regains his humanity by saying his last name: Murphy.
DAY 7: #PowerRangersSPD

In the episode "Reflection", Jack provides Sky his Delta Morpher so he can be the Red Ranger and avenge the death of his father; from there, he took down Mirloc, who killed his father. Sky would later be the Red Ranger at the series finale's epilogue.
DAY 8: #TheTerminator

The T-800 shows no emotion while shooting a police station with the goal of leaving no survivors, especially Sarah Connor (who later escapes with Kyle Reese). This scene has the iconic "I'll be back" line along with BGM accompanied with a robotic heartbeat.
DAY 9: #KingOfTheHill

In the episode "Pretty, Pretty Dresses", Hank confronts Dale while pretending to be Lenore to make Bill not only snap out of his obsession over Lenore but to also stop him from pretending he's Lenore. Bill vows to Hank that his past won't haunt him anymore.
DAY 10: #BatmanVSuperman

Martha Kent tells her son that people hate what they don't understand. She tells him he can be a hero to the world, a monument, or anything they want him to be, even if he doesn't owe them anything.

(originally for May 23 but #MotherBoxDay kicked in)
DAY 11: #WallaceAndGromit

The inventor and his dog build a rocket in "A Grand Day Out" to reach the moon in hopes of getting "cheese" from there. The music's charming, the gags work, and the fact that this duo was able to make a functioning rocket in one night is outstanding.
DAY 12: #Shrek

While I love Shrek 2 the most, this is my favorite Shrek scene of all time with the music, our titular Ogre coming up with a clever way to keep the dragon's reach away from them, and how it parodies a knight rescuing a princess while being faithful to the concept!
DAY 13: #Hellboy

Taking down monsters is no easy feat the big, red demon, especially when he and the Sammael he's trying to kill end up in a subway station. I love how Hellboy's able to remain in the fight despite his injuries (and he made saving kittens look cool)
DAY 14: #Daredevil

Fight scenes in live-action comic media are nothing new, but ones in long, seamless takes are always a treat, especially when they take place in a hallway between the lone vigilante and a group of thugs in one of the many episodes of this great Netflix show.
DAY 15: #XmenDaysOfFuturePast

Magneto tells every mutant watching his speech that they should not be afraid of who they are, promising a future where mutants reign supreme. The mutant deaths add to the first part of his speech, showing the consequences of humans making Sentinels
DAY 16: #TransformersDarkOfTheMoon

Optimus Prime and the Autobots return after faking their deaths to show the Earth that only they can take down the Decepticon threat that unleashed hell across the world. "We'll take the battle to them" is one of my favorite Optimus lines!
DAY 17: #TheSimpsons

In Homer3, part of Treehouse of Horror VI, Homer ends up in the third dimension while everyone comes up with a way to save him when the CGI world falls apart. I loved seeing Homer in the 3-D and real worlds, Bart's attempt to save Homer, and the 3-D models!
DAY 18: #MenInBlack

Agent J mocks the Bug by crushing its cockroaches and keeps his stance until the bug gets shot from the inside by Agent K (with J's gun). The two share a small bit of banter now that they recover the stolen galaxy and are saved at the last minute by Laurel.
MAY 19: #RevengeOfTheSith

Order 66 leads to the execution of the Jedi, one of the most emotional moments in Star Wars. The death of the lightsaber-wielding characters contrasts the ruthlessness displayed by the Clones. Also nice that the Clone Wars finale complements this film!
DAY 20: #Blade

Many fans talk about the opening fight at the night club or the final battle between Blade and Deacon Frost, but I feel seeing Blade beat the shit out of vampire henchmen is just as amazing as the other fights mentioned in the film that breathed new life in CBMs.
DAY 21: #Ghostbusters

The trio garner attention across the media as they do their job and keep New York safe with their ghost-busting work. Definitely shows how busy they've gotten as they step out of the firehouse and roll to the rescue with the Ecto-1.
DAY 22: #Predator

Dutch remains on his feet even after getting shot by the Predator and runs from the invisible threat after telling his allies the iconic line you should know by now (even if you never saw this film)
DAY 23: #TheWickerMan

I know. I know. I know. This may sound a little out of nowhere, but still, this scene is one that I can't help but add in this thread due to its infamy.
