Let’s recognize that the drive toward making profits privately is much of this.

If we collectively cared for our people and left nobody behind, we could stay shut a bit longer and save more lives.

Capitalism is the thing asking us to make the “acceptable death” calculation.

In Alberta, the chief evangelist for capitalism is Jason Kenney.

Therefore: Kenney is making the “acceptable death” calculation.
