like, i come across as someone who spends a lot of money on their clothes when

no all my clothes are thrifted, i spend most of my extra coin trying new restaurants

to substitute... this gaping hole... in my life... i've been trying new ice cream bars from hmart and i have Opinions

i got a box of the brown sugar boba ice cream bar that's all the Rage ... and it was delightful, how the boba retained its texture in spite the fact that it was frozen like a ROCK when i bit into it

:^O after eating one, i was Compelled to eat another

a Grave Mistake

my critique of the brown sugar ice cream bar is therefore in its size as compared to its Decadence of Flavor; eating one isn't enough, but eating two is 3/4's too much brown sugar boba ice cream bar

the following week, i tried the melona ice cream bar for the first time-- following my disappointment with the TYPICALLY PERFECT, BABY'S FAVORITE plum wine mikawaya mochi ice cream

rather than RISK the possibility of CRUMBLY, FREEZER-SHOCKED MOCHI i thought:
no mochi this time!

and omg i Understand why it's so Iconic like. it's so fragrant, refreshing, perfectly proportioned... the bar is close to the stick so it doesn't shatter into your hands as you bite into it...

i promptly moved the Baby's Favorite title from plum wine mochi to melona melon bar

THIS WEEK i'm trying the shari shari pear ice bar-- as it was low on calories and on Sale... according to danny's translation of the packaging it came from jpn was imported to korea and then imported to america, making it an international, jet-setting experience

the taste was on point, asian pear is a good flavor-- however, it was simple and lacking in any nuance. salt or a warmer spice (like ginger) would have elevated it. the effect was like biting into a frozen asian pear but without the texture.

due to its water content it shatters the closer you get to finishing it. REFRESHING as it was, the value (7$ for a pack of 6) did not align to my expectations

After a particularly bad batch of plum wine mochi I was turned off by the concept of purchasing another bag. However Costco bubbies were far too cheap to pass off,,,
