For the month of May my plan is to tweet a system agnostic magic item description every day. I have a bunch I designed and never used, and I hate to see them wasted.
If that sounds like your thing, I'll be posting them as replies to this tweet, so they all end up in one place

The Boundless Mirrors
This pair of 7ft by 5ft beautifully ornate but very smudged and dusty mirrors will, when faced parallel to one another, create an infinite series of reflections of any object or (non vampiric) individual placed between them. 1/5
These receding and shrinking reflections can be retrieved as smaller versions of the object or creature by entering one of the two mirrors as through a door and leaving with the object. The world inside is a smudged and warped simulcra of the room outside. 2/5
The space inside stops at the edges of the mirror's field of view, exposing a formless void beyond (do not fall in). The mirrors in each layer of reflection can be entered (assuming the traveller is small enough to fit), but grow smaller and smaller with each layer entered. 3/5
The distortion caused by the smudges will accumulate over time making the word inside more and more difficult to discern and the objects and people reflected will become less precise in shape and form. The reflected copies of the traveller will become increasingly hostile. 4/5
If the mirror is cracked in any way, both mirrors lose their powers, and any individuals still inside become trapped in an infinitely reflected copy of the last room the mirror reflected with no obvious means of escape. Attempts to clean the mirror will be met with malice. 5/5

The Gear Spider

This is a small brass clockwork spider enclosed in a wooden box, ornately carved with the following text: "A drop of blood in exchange for plenty."
The spider is inert until powered with the blood of a living creature. 1/7
When fed it will find the nearest mill, waterwheel or other simple mechanical construction and begin its work, weaving intricate brass clockwork machinery from its spinarets. For each drop of blood, the spider will work for a scant few minutes. 2/7

The Fancy Shoes

his is a pair of extremely fancy red shoes. The party will often find the pristine shoes on the feet of a long dead skeleton, accompanied by a second skeleton, with no sign of a struggle. 1/5
When the wearer asks what another person thinks of the shoes, the two of them will become locked in a never ending series of questions, compliments and stories pertaining to the shoes. The stories and compliments do not have to reflect reality at all. 2/5

The Concierge Bell

This is a small silver desktop bell you might expect to see in a hotel. When pressed, the user will be instaneously transported to the lobby of Le Grand Voyageur, a fully furnished and extremely lavish hotel. 1/6
This hotel is not an illusion or bound to the item, but is in fact a pocket plane operated by a rather famous company serving extremely powerful wizards who need a break from it all every now and again. As such, it is frequented by a who's who of planehopping celebrities. 2/6
The bells were part of a promotion a few centuries back, how on earth you came across one is anyone's guess, but since you're here, the concierge would be happy to book you a room. But be warned, Le Grand Voyageur is eye wateringly expensive. 3/6
the bar has an added service fee which seems inexplicably high, and the rooms are pretty drab when you get down to it, at least the ambience is quite nice. There's a lounge area with a humanoid horseshoe crab playing the piano, and a beautiful garden with an orangery. 4/6
If you can afford a room, you'll be treated a chocolate on your pillow (which restores all lost hit points), a shower, the comfiest beds you've ever slept on, and a fully stocked minibar with each party members absolute favourite drink (how'd they know?), but at a 600% markup 5/6
The concierge can send you back any time, free of charge and will even let you leave with those towels and mini shampoo bottles you stole (how'd he know??).
Do come back soon! 6/6
