A thread on food and developing tastes (1/5)
(2/5) Had some art discussions among some friends and we ended up with comparing art to food—how it’s learned, prepared, presented, and consumed.
(3/5)You don’t have to compare art to **just** one dish but pizzas are one of those simple dishes you can make and switch up.

A drawing is just a dish with ingredients being the stylistic elements while the steps to making it lies in the technique and execution.
(4/5) A lot of us want to share our creations to an audience (mostly the internet). It’s kinda like bringing our own dish to a gathering.

If we’re unsure whether our food (or art) is gonna be good, we look to others on what *makes* it good (tutorials, process videos, etc).
(5/5) Just like food, art is very contextual. Some drawings are effective in a certain situation while others aren’t so much.

Think about the stuff that you consume and maybe try applying aspects that you like in them into your art!
