Honor your life blood by:
• Collecting it in a moon cup
• Placing it into a clean and cleansed jar with intention
• And then returning it to the Earth when your cycle is over
You can use it through the week for various purposes.

I placed mine beside my head last night & received beautiful dream insights.

I covered my face in it this morning in the shower.

I placed a drop of it on my lover’s third eye to support him in his creative endeavors today.
Why use menstrual blood on your face?

1. It’s a practice of self-intimacy and reclamation of your rawness.

It brings you closer to the parts of you that society has told you are meant to be hidden and shamed.

You are bringing the darkness of your womb into the light of YOU.
We no longer need to be fear the sacred, natural aspects of what makes us women.

Moon blood on your face is a ritual that says: I know my power, I know my rawness, and I’m not afraid of it, I’m flaunting it, I’m immersing with it, I AM it!
Not to mention, physiologically:

Endometrial regenerative stem cells in the blood can aid in healing injuries and illness as well as reversing aging.

Yes, the darkness brings a glow as well.🩸🖤😉
Within certain ancient tribes, menstrual blood was revered as one of the most sacred substances on Earth.

Many women would return their blood to the Earth by free-bleeding onto their seeds.

One way we can honor our moon blood is through fertilizing our plants with it.
Each month, when the egg is not fertilized by sperm, the uterus sheds its lining, meaning our blood represents a life that could have been, month after month.

When the body does not create a child, the blood sheds and asks what you can create with it instead.

New life.
Blood contains three primary plant macronutrients—nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which aid in the growth and overall radiance of their aura.

Moon blood + water + intention = ultimate live-giving and live-enhancing power.
Whether you bleed with the Full Moon, the New Moon, or somewhere in between, your blood can be utilized within rituals (at home amidst your daily self-care practices or in the forest naked with fellow goddesses) to represent new life AND death/release.
Place the blood on your altar with a list of current visions to make way for potent manifestation.

Combine it with mugwort and ask for deeper clarity within your dreams.

Place it on your inner eye, dance, sweat, and cry as you visualize what it is you're letting go of.
But more importantly than anything: Develop a relationship with your blood.

Open up this channel of communication, love, and PRESENCE.

Look at your blood, gaze at it, breathe in its essence.
So many girls get their period for the first time and are immediately taught to hide their blood.

We are conditioned to feel shameful and disconnected from what makes us women, what makes us feminine, what makes us goddesses.

When our blood is cause to celebrate!
Our wombs ache and cry and scream during our cycles not as punishment, but to tell us they want our attention, our presence, our love, our devotion, our gratitude.

We cannot continue to live in our bodies and ignore them at the same time.
We are ignoring great power, the ultimate power, that lies within us infinitely.

And this world can no longer afford that.

Give your blood back to Mama Gaia, she will continue to turn it into nourishment and magic.

Much love, queens.
