Motivation is largely a function of testosterone within men. You don't find high testosterone men that are unmotivated or unambitious or lazy - because high testosterone means high energy and high ambition - which means boredom if you're not working on something or achieving.
It's not about "having the right mindset" - it's about having high T levels. You won't read your way into being a productive and motivated person. Books won't give you the energy or ambition or drive you seek to be successful. In fact, even reading is probably a chore for you.
"Having the right mindset" doesn't change your biology, changing your biology gives you the right mindset, as well as a the mood and energy levels to go with it.

Mental state, mood and energy levels flow downward of biology, not the other way around.
I'm not trying to hype testosterone for the sake of it. I speak from experience. Anybody who has experienced what it's like to be LOW and HIGH T, and is in tune enough with their body to tell the difference will attest that HIGH T is the essence of motivation and drive in men.
If life is a drag, you're generally not in good a mood, and it feels like a chore to get anything done - you don't need a mindset shift, you need to get your bloodwork done.

Lots of men resign themselves to the fact they are low energy/lazy - but it doesn't have to be this way.
Right now it's bad timing, due to the pandemic - so I wouldn't risk going to see a physician at the moment to pursue hormonal optimisation only to go and catch a virus.

But definitely something worth noting in the back of your head, for when it's safe to go out again!
