All the top Islamic scholars have been influenced from him from madani to nadawi to maulana azad. Deoband started by being influenced from Shah Wali Allah

Some teachings of Shah Wali Allah

Teaching No1

Force is the best policy to spread Islam. Islam should be forced like a bitter medicine is forced through a child's throat.

Profession can not be changed
1. Carpenter should remain carpenter
2. Agriculturist should remain Agriculturist,

As per Shah Wali Allah , Prophet Mohammad had declared that Din of Women is extremely weak and their intelligence is poor.

SHAH WALI ALLAH quoted a tradition of the Prophet that Muslim should stay so far away from the Kaffir that their lights are not visible to muslims even from their highest buildings.

Ideally they should live in their ghettos only.
