"SARS-Cov2 enables anaerobic bacteria (AB) (Prevotella, et al) to colonize the lungs - symptoms (ARDS, septic shock, blood clots, arterial stroke) finds resonance, with key differences, in Lemierre Syndrome, caused by AB enabled by EBV" https://osf.io/usztn ">https://osf.io/usztn&quo...

Since Feb 3,when the first Chinese study showed Prevotella take over (that might have been a one-off) multiple studies have shown the same pattern.

This thread I will just focus on Lemierre syndrome(LS),the rest already have threads (will give in end) https://twitter.com/sanchak74/status/1224348761586974726">https://twitter.com/sanchak74...

EBV creates`conditions conducive to anaerobic growth, like a peritonsillar abscess, allow growth and penetration of the surrounding tissues by F. necrophorum& #39;

Just like in Covid19, SARS-Cov2 enables anaerobic bacteria..

Many studies show this https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16701549/ ">https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16701549/...

Symptoms of LS and Covid19 resonate -
ARDS, blood clots, arterial stroke & septic shock

`was implicated in the case of a previously healthy 15-year-old ... septic shock, brain, arterial stroke & lung abscesses,+ve blood culture for Prevotella oris& #39;

`The interaction between Lemierre& #39;s syndrome and EBV is complex and can cause diagnostic uncertainty, particularly in early infection.& #39;

This must be one of the most defining/frustrating feature of Covid19 - the false negatives. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5661783/">https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/artic...

Co-infection of EBV and SARS-Cov2 leads to more symptoms (fever) and higher CRP (bacterial infection)
