QUESTIONS FOR @migueldelaney:

Since Delaney has a habit of ducking questions but accuse the questioner of obfuscation and worse, I have decided to pose a limited 10 questions to him in a single fresh thread which can give him a clear opportunity to respond.
1) In 2010 before buying the loss making The Independent, Alexander Lebedev sold his stake in Russia's state owned Aeroflot & Ilyushin back to the govt for a combined £750 Mn. Importantly, a few months prior he didn't have funds to pay salaries in his Russian paper Novaya Gazeta
QUESTION 1: Since they are a source of his funds could it be construed that the purchase The Independent was funded by the Russian Government?
QUESTION 2: Why did such a cash strapped Russian Oligarch buy not one but two highly loss making newspapers within 16 months of each other in the UK? (The Independent & The Evening Standard).
Today most people are aware of the name Mohammed Abuljadayel the employee of the state owned National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia who bought a stake in The Independent and The Evening Standard. Not much is written about Wondrous Investments LLP, owned but the same bank
which also bought a stake in both the newspapers along with Abuljadayel.

QUESTION 3: What is the profile & background (including his other investments) of Mr Abuljadayel? There doesn't seem to be a picture of him online.
QUESTION 4: Even if one were to buy the argument that Abuljadayel acted on his own to invest, doesn't the investment by Wondrous Investments LLP tie the two papers directly to the Saudi Govt? So would Delaney agree that his paper is partly owned by the Saudi Govt?
QUESTION 5: There has been a flurry of articles from Delaney attacking the #NUFCTakeover and they all appeared hours after this article where Turkey banned The Independent from its country. Were Delaney's articles an attempt to distract from this news?
I've asked the 5th question for the 12th time now.

Anyhow the second set of 5 questions are for tomorrow. Hope to give you some time to respond, @MiguelDelaney
