oh hello video game discourse

games are unreasonably concerned with secrecy and it serves no real purpose. gamers are unreasonably concerned with spoilers because they can't exercise self control.

nothing leaked about any AAA game really matters.
it is actually possible to not voraciously consume literally every bit of information about a game you know

also pretty sure secrecy in AAA is based around hiding how phoned in and generic everything really is anyway
if you are that concerned about spoilers try playing one of the thousands of quality indie games that people don't even get around to talking about.

can't be spoiled on something no one has played.
also maybe read books once in a while so you can realize that narratively what the majority of AAA games do is neither interesting nor surprising, and that narrative decisions made for shock value don't really count as good writing.
also dear AAA devs: you don't need to guard the fact that you are making a sequel like it's the holy grail. we know. we assume. everything gets a sequel by default until it's been like... 10 years without a sequel. then we'll think that MAYBE it's not actually getting a sequel.
