I have so many feelings about The Last of Us Part II leak that happened so I'm just gonna go on a rant about it. I'm so sorry for anyone who follows me and doesn't care about this stuff. But like this is big. 1/11

For one, this is upsetting for all the people who worked on this game. From writers, to motion capture, to graphics, to coding, etc. All of this drains their hard work and puts it out there in small glimpses. 2/11

That being said, how do we know to take this as the real thing? It looks real. But how can we trust a random person on the internet that put this up and just take their word for it? 3/11

Then there's the rumor that it's a frustrated employee who leaked this stuff. Whoever they are, they just ruined their career. It just doesn't make sense for them to do so when the main reasoning behind it is not getting paid. 4/11

Instead of getting mad at Naughty Dog for the story, we should be getting angry at them at the reasons why someone might have done this. We should be supporting unions and giving them a voice as they're the ones who know what's really going on. Like @GameWorkers 5/11

And finally, I'm seeing a lot of people mad over the story. SPOILER ALERT NOW FOR NEXT FEW TWEETS. THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING.......... 6/11

If you're getting mad over the fact that the a male character got killed and are blaming it on feminism and equality in gaming, then you're an idiot. You're just mad that the one character you "related" to is gone. Don't blame feminism/women on that. 7/11

Representation is needed in games and now you know how the rest of us feel about not seeing ourselves in games. You can literally play any other game. But Ellie's sexuality and being female among other things, has nothing to do with what happened. 8/11

You can be upset at a character death and say the game missed the mark because of how much they mean to you. Also, surprise, games with representation can be bad. Just like any other game. But the reason why it's bad is not because of representation, just bad storytelling. 9/11

We haven't seen the full game yet. We can't judge it based on what we saw, no matter how significant it may seem. If you don't want to play it anymore, that's fine. But we're not seeing the full picture here. 10/11
