When I switched from being Never Trump to pro-Trump in June of 2017, Comey had just been fired & it was becoming increasingly apparent that yes indeed, Trump & Co. were attempting to assert control of a fed. gov't chock full of saboteurs out to take them down.
A group of very determined, entrenched and clever saboteurs who were enthusiastically out to get Trump, setting him up with briefings & then leaking them, laying traps, sending spies, intercepting communications, in some cases in coordination with foreign intelligence services.
Now I'm going to link one of my earlier threads here.

It's important you understand **The 3 Brutal Truths About Conservative Pundits** and have them firmly fixed in your minds before discuss this issue further. https://twitter.com/drawandstrike/status/1252798267877883905?s=20
Because ever since June of 2017, I've watched Trump-supporting pundits make the exact same three absurd presumptions over and over again.

They start almost every narrative they push based one, two, or all three of these absurd presuppositions.
What are **Three Absurd Presumptions Of Many Conservative Pundits**?

1) I am *smarter* than this President
2) I am **better informed** than this President
3) I would **be doing a far better job** than this President
I understood what I was seeing but every time I tried to articulate it, I was told to "stop attacking our own side".

I was often accused of jealousy, or being a secret Never Trumper.

Because I kept talking about how absurd these 3 presumptions were.
Here's the thing about punditry people don't know: it's incredibly easy to do.

I've been doing it for 8 years now from a tiny apartment in a mid-size South Texas town. First on social media for about six years and then the last two years as a columnist for Epoch & UncoverDC.
Pundits are people who make their living giving their opinions.

You would hope these are informed people who spend the time to dig fully into a subject & research & engage in some serious thought before forming an opinion and providing it to their audience.
I've discovered since I became one, most political pundits on either side don't spend much time at all on research, critical thought or seeking alternative points of view before launching into their latest narrative.
Just because some pundit has been **telling** you for going on 3 years now Trump & Sessions could've rolled up this entire SpyGate plot like an old carpet, easy peasy back in early 2018 does not make it so.
It's true a good communicator can take something that's complex with a lot of moving parts & simplify so the uninitiated can understand the basics of it.

But that's not really what many of these pundits have been doing these past few years.
There's a big difference between accurately covering a civil war inside the Fed. Gov't between two very real opposing sides with all the complexity involved in that as you explain what's going on & **pretending** this isn't complex it all; in fact it's **EASY**.
Faced with an uphill battle all the way in January 2017, Trump & his team launched a very clever military-style counterintelligence operation against an entrenched criminal cabal inside the federal agencies that - theoretically - Trump was now in charge of running.
The complexity and the difficulty of pulling this off, I have tried several times over the past year to fully explain what Trump & Co. were attempting to do here.

The chances of their success looked **impossible** at the time.
In contrast to my trying to explain the sheer difficulty of attempting spot, root out, replace, investigate, collect the evidence, build the cases & then prosecute some of the most powerful & influential people in the world since 2017, there's been a gaggle of pundits who....
...since June of 2017 have engaged in an endless Cassandra Chorus of standing at my elbow and loudly saying over and over again:

"Just arrest them. What are you waiting for? ARREST THEM. ARREST THEM ALREADY. Why haven't you arrested them yet? Hello??! ARREST THEM!!!!"
Yes, to hear some pundits tell it, absolutely nothing was stopping these SpyGate plotters from all being arrested back in mid-2017.

Certainly by mid-2018, there was no reason the hammer shouldn't be instantly dropped on these bad cops.
This a false narrative.

Always has been.

Trump & Co. were trying to pull off one of THE most complex counterintelligence stings on an entrenched criminal cabal inside the fed. gov't to bring them to justice **without** collapsing Trump's ability to govern.
Stop for a minute and read that previous sentence about 20 times until it fully sinks in.

A failure of much punditry over the past 3 years on the Conservative side has been loudly complaining about Trump & his hand picked team not doing this 'right'.
To hear people who make their living giving their **opinion** tell it, the "right" way to go about this was for Trump & his team to **immediately arrest all these plotters** and THEN start building the cases against them & make the case for arresting them, expose them afterwards.
Because they know the "right" way Trump should've gone about rooting out this criminal cabal, much of the Conservative pundit class has been mystified for the past 3 years as to why Trump never seems to take their advice.

On just about anything.
Smart people game planned this out. They foresaw what would HAPPEN, what the CONSEQUENCES would be if Trump & his team unleashed Hell on the SpyGate plotters back in 2017/2018/2019.

Before the time was right.
If you **start** with the arrests back in mid/late 2017, and then try to expose them AFTER you've arrested them, try to explain what they did while they are sitting in a prison cell, that would not have worked.

If you think it would have, you literally haven't thought about it.
A **far** better strategy would be to fully expose them FIRST, take your time rooting them ALL out, collecting the evidence, carefully building cases for prosecution, so by the time you're ready to indict, over 2/3rds of the country is saying "Hey why aren't they in jail yet?"
THAT is where we are now at.

The difference between arresting a James Comey or an Andrew McCabe back in 2017 and arresting them in summer of 2020 is **the ground** has been fully prepared.

The battlefield is READY.
Thank God none of the pundits who think they are SMARTER than this President, that they are BETTER INFORMED than he is, and who deep in their hearts believe they'd have DONE A BETTER JOB than him handling this, I thank GOD every morning he doesn't listen to these people.
Because the **correct** strategy was pursued by Trump & his team, we are now at the point the DOJ **itself** is ready to go public with some of the evidence against the SpyGate cabal as it relates to the Flynn case.

The DOJ **sent** Jensen into that DC US Attorney's office.
Barr personally appointed US Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri [USA EDMO] Jeffrey Jensen to go into the DC USA's office recently vacated by Jessie K. Liu & dig into that utter fiasco of a case against @GenFlynn.

That's what we call a "Special Prosecutor".
I even made a humorous meme to kind of point to what had just happened.

Liu was **tricked** into giving up the DC US Attorney's job with an offer of a better job at the Treasury Dept. that suddenly went 'POOF!' & disappeared while top Barr lieutenant Timothy Shea replaced her.
You are watching the ENDGAME of a military-style COUNTERINTELLIGENCE STING against a deeply entrenched criminal cabal where 2/3rds of it's members held **key government positions** until very recently.

Understand what a key component of the sting is.
You **leave** some of these people in place for a time while you gather your evidence against them.

You follow them around.

You intercept their communications.

You tap their phones.

You read their emails.

You do unto others what they've done unto you.
You send them people who convince them they are on their side, ready to help them take a President down.

And the entire time Trump's spies are informing on you.

Use of your own spies to counter the enemies spies is a key component of this kind of warfare.
Even at THIS stage most Conservative pundits haven't figured out who Trump's main spy was in this counterintelligence sting on the SpyGate cabal.

Even though it's no longer a secret.

Only your own biases keep you from seeing it.

Biases based on what pundits babbled to you.
As the indictments are unsealed and the trial maneuvers begin, as cases against Flynn, Stone, Manafort & others are tossed, as the lawsuits start flying, the role of Trump's own counterspies will become evident.

Some people are in for an awful shock.
Of course, AFTER Rosenstein testifies at the trials as a witness for the prosecutors, everybody is gonna go "Well DUH! It was obvious!"

That's OK.

People will remember who told you this first.
Not even the HERO'S SENDOFF he got in the Main Hall at the DOJ made a dent in the narratives pundits have babbled about Rosenstein for 3 1/2 years.

Not even Barr **asking** Rosenstein to stay on longer for another 3 months.

Nothing is allowed to dent that narrative.
Understand: once Barr was securely in place and Rosenstein had FINISHED HIS MISSION they dropped the mask and they LITERALLY rubbed it in the SpyGate cabals face.

You suckers.

You utter suckers.

You have no idea how screwed you are.

But you'll find out.

/end
And remember who set this all in motion:
ADDENDUM:

"Trump's too stupid to use counterspies on the spies."

You'll have Conservative pundits using this as an excuse.

Listen to me carefully: Trump's FAVORITE book is "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu.

There's are ENTIRE CHAPTERS on the use of spies.
"Trump using counterspies in a counter-counterintelligence sting on the spies doing a counterintelligence sting on him? What are you smoking?" people are telling me.

Why, yes, Trump's far too stupid to fight fire with fire. 🙄

Yeah.

Go with that.
Listen up: this is a President who **boasted** to them from the start he would deliberately be feeding them disinformation through his OWN spy/leaking network.

He wasn't SHY about it.

Any narrative that begins "Trump's not smart enough to..." is dead on arrival.
OF COURSE Trump was smart enough to send in his own counterspies to spy on the people spying on and trying to sabotage him and take him down and drive him from office.

All these narratives based on Trump is a not too bright fellow passively reacting to everything = so stupid.
Trump's counterspies were all in place by mid-2017.

A very super-secret counterintelligence sting was put into motion once Trump assumed power in January 2017 after the inauguration.

The members of the sting faced an impossible looking feat.
While Trump maintained a functioning government & implemented his agenda, top federal officials engaged in outright treason, sedition & criminal corruption had to be spotted, removed, replaced & cases built against them.

BUT THEY DID IT.

THEY PULLED IT OFF.
Now, you COULD adopt the narrative many of the pundits have ended up adopting: Donald J. Trump is still standing and about to achieve overwhelming victory because he is the LUCKIEST SON OF A BITCH ALIVE and he's still here despite making all the wrong moves the past 3 years.
Trump doesn't tell these pundits what he's actually doing behind the scenes while he gives the DNC Media laser pointers and rabbits to chase to keep them out of his way, and so these pundits who think they're so smart end up INVENTING explanations of how Trump's 'doing it wrong'.
And another thing: if Trump had TOLD many of these Conservative pundits back in 2017 what was really going on, what he and his team were attempting to do with this counterintelligence sting on the SpyGate cabal, how many would have KEPT THEIR GODDAMN MOUTHS SHUT about it?
Very few, if any.

Which is all their usual avenues for leaks inside that DC leak culture either went dry or started putting out disinformation starting in Jan. 2017.

Yes, Conservatives play the leak game too.
I've watched Conservative pundits fall for fake leaks the same as all the DNC Media pundits for more than 4 years.

The DNC Media idiots aren't the only ones who don't learn from fake leaks, even as they are assiduously trying to get Trump's inner circle to leak to them.
Understand something and I will NEVER back off of this:

had Sean or Laura or Lou or ANY of these pundits learned what Trump was REALLY doing back in 2017, they'd have rushed onto their programs and revealed it all with a Cheshire Cat grin.
ALL the Conservative pundits were kept in the dark and not told about the counterintelligence sting underway on the SpyGate cabal because media people - are you sitting down? - CANNOT be trusted to keep their mouths shut.
HOW could a successful military-style counter-intelligence operation have been pulled off by Trump's team if details of what they were trying to do and about to attempt to do kept being LEAKED to the media?
So here's why I don't get along with most of the Conservative pundits who missed the obvious for the past 3 1/2 years.

Not only were they standing at Trump's elbow all this time shrieking "ARREST THEM! WHY HAVEN'T YOU ARRESTED THEM YET??!!"

They were also...
...frantically and endlessly trying to get accurate LEAKS from Trump's inner circle that would have derailed and sabotaged everything Trump and his team were doing.

If they had known, there is NO WAY they'd have kept their mouths shut.
Which is why Trump wasn't only feeding fake leaks to the DNC Media Complex the last 4 years.

How many of you saw where I was going with this?
When you insert your own COUNTERSPY into the enemy's camp, what are you sending that person in there to do?

To pretend to be YOUR enemy as they

1) gather intelligence on your enemies

and

2) feed your enemies disinformation to lure them into your own traps.
Understand: I don't **blame** people for not understanding or accepting Rosenstein as Trump's main SpyGate counterspy.

Even after the mask was dropped in mid 2019 and they RUBBED the plotter's faces in it.
Trump's own TEAM spent 3 years seeding the media with fake leaks about Rosenstein.

A counterspy needs cover. For him to be effective, the enemy must believe he is one of them and they can share their key information with him.

They need to believe what he tells them.
AND THEY DID MAN!

THEY DID!

Can you imagine how Comey & McCabe & Strzok & Brennan & Clapper & Halper & all the rest of those goons felt watching that hero's sendoff that Rosenstein got?
So you thought Rosenstein was a snake?

Well good.

YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO.

Fakes leaks were fed to both DNC & Conservative Media to **ensure** you thought that.

He needed cover to do his work. He got it.
So even after the mask was dropped and Barr and Rosenstein and Sessions had a good laugh at that retirement ceremony on how they'd rick-rolled the SpyGate cabal, the narrative Rosenstein is a SNAKE is so deeply entrenched, some people will never question it.
Their own trusted Conservative Media sources & pundits got **exclusive anonymous leaks** from their key inside sources that Rosenstein is one of THE main SpyGate plotters, and that settled it for them for all time.
The fact those leaks were FAKE & came from Trump's own team never occurs to them and they likely wouldn't believe it anyway.

These people are gonna have a cognitive dissonance episode when Rosenstein shows up at the trials as a witness for the DOJ prosecutors.
Sen. Kamala Harris thinks there's a HUGE CONFLICT OF INTEREST for Rosenstein to be making decisions on cases where he will end up **testifying** against his fellow co-workers at the DOJ/FBI who were involved in those cases.

Barr told her...what?
He told her after Sessions had recused himself, everybody knew whoever was appointed DAG was going to be handling the RussiaGate investigations while Sessions managed the rest of the DOJ.

Everybody with me so far?
Rosenstein was appointed by Trump to be DAG on February 1, 2017.

Jeff Sessions recused himself on March 2, 2017.

Rosenstein's confirmation hearings in the Senate were held in late April, 2017.

Rosenstein was confirmed & took the oath on April 25, 2017.
Barr walked Harris through this timeline, then explained the issue of whether or not Rosenstein could both supervise, and then TESTIFY AS A WITNESS AGAINST members of the SpyGate cabal had been **addressed** back in April of 2017.

Yes, he could.

He could do both.
Harris sits right there with this exact look on her face as Barr explains this.

She didn't get it.

She still doesn't get it.

BUT SHE WILL.

Soon.
And like I said, I don't blame a whole lot of people for not accepting this.

3 years of active disinformation to provide cover for a crucial counterintelligence sting with the fate of the entire country at stake went on.

A whole lot of people were fooled.
Counterintelligence stings only work if the enemy - and your friends who can't keep their mouths shut - are out of the loop.

This one worked.

It took hard work & craft and patience.

Thank God it did.
