When I first got to high school, I remember how all the matric boys would flock to the grade 8 girls. Within the first month, a vast majority of them had girlfriends in grade 8. But the relationships never really lasted

& I remember thinking it so weird for 18 year olds to be dating 14 year olds. But apparently it was only me because all the boys in my grade were crying because the seniors were killing their chances at getting girlfriends

I don’t even know where I was going with this thread. It’s just the conversation today has me reflecting on the things that would happen in high school that were so normalized. & I’m a little upset.
