I never really post anything personal on here! My name is Lucy, my partner and I live in an apartment affected by the cladding scandal, expecting our first child but unable to move to a two bedroomed home as our property value is now 0 because of the faults with our building. 1/3
So I'm left in an @urbanbubbleUK apartment, doing home improvements on an apartment that gets damp from the empty space under my apartment which nobody will contact me about, although damp could affect my babies lungs, I now have athsma, with no hopes of increasing the value as
3/3 eventually I assume I'll be bankrupt and have my lease taken away as we won't be able to pay the proposed bills of up to 50k?! I can't even afford 1k. I just don't have it. So that's the current #cladding situation. #endourcladdingscandal #claddingscandal
Dreading the outcome, I really am. I was told by @urbanbubbleUK last week that we'd have an update which I told my building group chat and one of our steering group and ended up looking silly I suppose! Then again someone from the company told me my building was a "shoddy build"
