Barnier says “the UK cannot impose this time line but not budge on topics that are of importance to the EU” (fishing, methinks). Why ever not Michel? Just why not? The EU has ripped off UK fishing for forty years; if the French don’t like our fishing independence, that’s your

problem not ours. You guys have got to bail out Italy & Spain; a bigger problem than worrying about our fishermen.
