Some data points of interest I noted below...
(if you're reading in the future, this is correct to gw8)

1/ Bonus Hogs - average rating among those playing 90%+ mins
RvN the bonus hog here (autocap material), but a lot of interesting characters here
Matt Elliot and Damien Delaney in 5th and 8th catch the eye
Lei fixtures: WES DER cha sou

1a/ RvN
What a monster
o Most shots (30, 8 more than Shearer)
o Most bonus points (cos of high avr) - 15, 3 more than 2nd (Hreidarsson )
GREAT with his noggin
o Most headers won - 114, 31(!) more than 2nd (Laslandes)
o Most key headers won (25, 7 more than 2nd - Matt Elliot )

2/ Creatives (all 80% mins +)
o Giggsy unlucky - leads the way with key passes (18) but just 1 assist. High xA underachievement
o Becks worth the money? =1 for assists and 2nd for kps
o Valakari and Solano at 6m looking value
o Dean Gordon only def top 10 - Petrescu in 11th

3/ Shooted and booted (all 80%+ mins)
o Not too many surprises with top 3, but Uncle Dean in 4th interesting with those games
o Boa Morte and Robert in top 10 for mids. Robert v unlucky - 9 shots on target, 0 goals - big xG underperform
o Marlet + Ricketts only owned by 1%

3a/ Lord Staunton: hot shot
He scores when he wants
He scores when he waaaants
He's taken one shot
And he's fucking scored it
1 shot. 1 kill. 100% shot accuracy.

As you'll have noted, I tend to filter on 80% plus available mins played. This is to filter out weird data points.

I don't care if you disagree with that approach.

Some general notes follow...

(General Notes /salute)

4/ Defenders (80%+ mins played)
o Dean Gordon. Hero. =1 for shots (6, level with Harte) and =1 for key passes (10, 1 more than Petrescu in 9th). Well worth the 5.5m thus far.
o Goma (4.5m, Ful) has the highest AVR - 8.0 per game
o Hendry. Granite. Highest % tackles won (2/3!)

5/ Midfielders (80%+ mins played)
o LBM (46) and Allan Johnston (45) breakout stars so far - Johnston fab value for money, 2nd on ppm measure to Wilcox (5.5m, based off of one huge score)
o D Powell - 5.5m. 11 shots so far, 82% accuracy. Cheap howitzer?
o Solano highest AVR - 8.6

5a/ S©owcroft?
OOP Leicester man has
o Won significantly more headers (67) than any other mid (51, Matt Holland)
o =4th shots (11, joint with Powell (DER)), and 9 of those were on target
o Owned by 1% last week. V likely to rise as leaky Villa have conceded 11 in 3 on the road

6/ STs (80% + owned)
o Trotters Wallace+Pederson assassins in front of goal - few shots, but they make them count. Both higher than 80% shot accuracy
o Only Teddy also on a par
o Zola unlucky not to score more - 16 shots, sweet 69% accuracy...1 goal
o RvN crushing overall as said
