So I'm watching #DCSuperheroGirls - which ICYMI - is a cartoon available on Netflix, aimed for 8yr+ olds with 11min eps.
The ep I saw has the girls saving Diana from being sent back to Themiscyra then come to face a young, blonde Lena with a robot army about to trash the pier.

Lena steals Lex's VR tech to distract everybody so she can destroy the "fun" places teenagers hang out so kids like her can take over.
The girls plan to destroy the robot Lena uses to control the rest by connecting Kara's amp & short circuiting it from the inside.

I've said this before, but I realllly love this beefcake, rocker with teenage angst version of #KaraDanvers . And she has an El crest guitar pick!

#Supergirl

They successfully destroy Lena's robot causing the robot army & the VR lenses to be deactivated. Lex & Lillian pick up Lena throwing a fit coming out of the trashed robot & she is driven away in a car.
Lex vows to rebuild the town esp the bakery with the good Snickerdoodles.

Three months later, the bakery is rebuilt & the girls are happy to be back there. Batgirl tinkers with something and they end up underground. Turns out, she snuck in & created a version of The Tower / a homebase for them during the construction. Kara's spot is the gym of course

So what I'm saying is, this ep has elements of SG S5 yet it's way more cohesive & entertaining with women at the forefront, with equal screentime for all, & done with a fraction of the time & budget
Regardless of mediums, it's something when an 11min ep >>> entire SG S5.
