I would have been happy at the simple fact that something good is finally coming out of Africa if not for the fact that most narrators are only trying to belittle the efforts of the Nigerian gov't.

The establishment at the root of the news in an international collaboration established since 1896. The IDP ( institute Dakar Le Pasteur) is managed by France in collaboration with the Senegalese gov't. The UK government recently gave the institute £40m for this new work.
So it's clear that the 'senegalese' New test kit is an international collaboration located in Dakar. There is no need to start 'dragging ' Nigeria or Buhari or NCDC with this news.
