What’s your top three reasons for Cornwall being the poorest part of the UK, in your opinion? Let me know what you think.

Here’s mine:

1. All economic and social decisions are made far away.

2. Our local media is run from Plymouth (BBC) or Bristol (ITV), so less representation.

3. Government decisions are based on statistics for the richer “South West”, rather than on statistics for Cornwall.
