age regression or agere is a COPING MECHANISM used to make the person focus on a time when things were simpler, to not deal with the stress that comes with adulthood. it's completely sfw.

although ageplay can be sfw too, it's often nsfw, it is a fetish. wearing diapers, acting like you're a baby, a toddler or a teenager in a sexual context. getting turned on by the thought of interacting with a child in this manner.

I'm not shaming anyone for ageplaying, as long as everyone's over the age of 18+ and has explicit consent. but it is wrong to mix both and you should be very aware that ageplaying IS NOT A COPING MECHANISM AND SHOULDN'T BE ADDRESSED AS ONE end thread.
