There is no secretive pro-Taliban PR campaign.

It would be no use. Lots of Americans equate "Taliban" w/ "terrorist."

American people will never think of Taliban as a “partner”; their association with 9/11 is too strong.

Conflict resolution organisations study and talk to all sides of a conflict.
This dialogue and analysis is vital to providing a realistic, *public* picture of what it takes to reach peace.

For Afghanistan today, that includes being clear about the US' position.
