Rape jokes targeted towards dark skin black women and you wanna talk about ‘I was young and childish’ ??

I definitely believe that tweets should be brought up from the past if found.

Just like the racist white men are the judges/employers TODAY, the people who villiified and verbally abused dark skin women can be the people in trusted/influential positions in the black community.

People are entitled to decide whether they want to continue to trust/support the character of people who were openly degrading towards them.

Tweets like the ones that surfaced are so offensive that it truly questions if the individual is genuine Today.

This is only Twitter - but what was happening in those years (& even recently) is a direct reality in society today.

The fact it was NORMAL to openly be racist/colourist & degrading to black women - even affects society today. We see what happens on Love Island with black girls

We see what happens everytime previous contestants post & the debates that become a topic on this app. Yet its always been pushed as if black women are desperate to be approved or being forced onto people.

Some dark skin women went years before loving the skin they’re in. Years.

All I can say is all those times people suggested dark skin women were ‘Bitter’ or ‘Jealous’ towards topics of colourism - it should shed a light that what they went through was clearly incomparable.

Black boys never had it that bad. Light skin women didn’t neither. Shameful.
