Over a month ago we contacted the HPRA and offered free help in importing masks from China. We have been working in China with our partner factories (which also produce medical masks) for 8 years now.

We offered:

1) to supply masks from our factory in which we have CE and FDA approval and certifications for the products. We also paid to have a 3rd party lab (which specifically tests medical products) to run tests on the masks and have a very detailed report showing they...

are top medical grade quality and filter viruses.

OR

2) We would vet whatever factory they were working with already to make sure the quality matches what is needed. We offered to pay for and run the 3rd party tests and also send one of our representatives to the factory to check all the masks in person.

Again, all offered for FREE. All expenses covered by us and if they chose to buy masks from our factory that I guaranteed the price would be at cost and was definitely lower than what they were currently paying.

Despite continued emails and attempts we were ignored. They didn’t return any further emails and still aren’t.
Shortly after, the report of all the bad unusable PPE came out. No shock at all.

So, now we are offering masks for sale to the public and matching each order with a 1:1 donation to an Irish health care service.
