Firecrackers in Supreme Court during the hearing regarding migrant workers.

Justice Sanjay K. Kaul says Prashant Bhushan has no faith in the Supreme Court. Asks Bhushan “why should we hear you?”

Bhushan defends himself, says he has only expressed his personal views in the past.
Bhushan says many of his views have also been echoed by retd judges.

Justice Kaul says Bhushan has been part of the institution for 30yrs. “Some orders are favourable and some are not”, but the comments made by him in the past are indicative that he has no faith in the judiciary
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta also objects to Bhushan’s contentions. SG says “the brilliant ideas of the petitioner are not needed”, every time that Bhushan loses in Court, “he runs to the lawns and calls it a black day. He cannot run the govt as a PIL petitioner” says Mehta.
