Since I can’t sleep, here’s a thread of me describing nct/wayv’s singing voices on how i perceive them:

Very stable & powerful. He sounds very professional. Let me just say I LOVE his vibrato, like a lot. I think of a favorite sweater? like your nice sweater and people compliment you on it every time you wear it. Taeil’s voice is just *chef’s kiss* melt material

Sweet & savory. I think it’s interesting that he tends to sing in a lighter tone than you’d expect him to. Kind of like a deep breath, calming. His voice sounds like a really good hug, but he also kinda sounds shy? It’s cute.

Very soft & draws a very drastic difference from his rapping voice. It’s like he’s trying to not be loud or something. His voice reminds me of lullabies, especially in ‘White Night’. Every time I hear him sing it brings a soft smile to my face, I love this man.

Ever feel loved? Yea, that’s what Yuta’s voice is to me. It’s very smooth and reminds me a plush blanket. Once I hear it I just want to hear more of it, it’s just really pretty and it suits him very well.

Unique. Like Taeyong, I want him to sing lullabies to me. Very sweet and never want to stop listening. I love how his voice translates different words and notes, hearing the highs/lows. In ‘Face To Face’ he sounds like he’s literally whispering that everything is okay.

So, so pretty. Like a serenade in front of a campfire. His tone is very warm and soothing. I also like that, aside from soft, his voice can be a little sexy? That one part in ‘No Manners’ is satisfying to listen to. I love when he uses his voice to its full potential.

Chocolate with a hint a lavender. Feels like a hug. His voice is so gorgeous and I melt every time every time. He has wonderful control over his vocals, high & low. It just keeps getting better which each passing year. ‘Try Again’ calms me down so much, one of my favs.

Downey fabric softener. His voice is so PRETTY! It’s very sweet and refreshing. I also feel like his voice is too pretty and we’re not supposed to hear it. Reminds me of fairies and little magical ponds. Ethereal. It just has a really nice sound to it, I adore it so.

So sexy and not even that way. I think that his deep voice is very nice and I love hearing him sing. I almost cried when I heard him in ‘Dream Launch’, I was just so happy to hear him. I’ve been rooting for his singing abilities for so long. His voice is beautiful!

Very versatile. Makes me think of the spring and flowers blooming. I’ve grown to really love his voice as time goes by. I love both his higher and lower tones,,,especially the lower. His little “yea~” towards the end of ‘Beautiful Time’ & the ‘Boom’ high note, ascension.

Bad bitch,,,honestly. It’s so uniquely beautiful and the fact that he absolutely works it, gives him more of an advantage. His voice is very strong and he knows his own voice very well. Amazing control and stability. Reminds me of snickerdoodles, don’t ask me why.

We don’t hear it too much, but thanks to our queens ‘Asteroid’ and ‘Let Me Love U’ we get to hear that sweet, sweet voice of his. I like how light it is and his voice also sounds friendly. It’s just really soft and smiley!

Frogs & lillypads. Very soft and just straight-up angelic. Of course, his voice got deeper (somehow), but it still sounds that way. It reminds of me of happiness and he WILL sing to you no matter if you’re joking or not. He loves singing.

I could fall asleep to his voice. His voice is so deep and soothing. His lower tone is most definitely a strength. It’s really beautiful and there’s nothing more I want than a full cover of 1D’s ‘You & I’, he has the range. Like a calming walk on a gloomy day.
