To the jobless, recent graduates & those soon to be: After COVID-19, there'll be a lot of humanitarian jobs as the world seeks to rebuild. Think of a career in this area. Start preparing yourself now. Go online & search even for volunteer positions across the world. Be proactive
Humanitarian institutions include some of the following:
-UN agencies
-USAID
-Oxfam
-Save the Children International
-The Red Cross
-Doctors w/out Borders
-Care International
-World Vision etc.

Visit their websites & check their activities you can be part of. Adapt your skills
Skills most humanitarian jobs look for:
-Team player
-Good communicator
-Respect for diversity
-Networking
-Analytical
-Decisiveness
-Good organisational skills
-Adaptive
etc.
If I were young & jobless right now, I would spend less of my bundles and time at home on responding to online challenges & instead visit a 100 humanitarian websites applying for all jobs that suit my interests
anywhere in the world to position myself for life post COVID-19.
But since I'm not 'young' and currently have a job, I thought of sharing this with you, especially you the young people who make the majority of the people on this app and indeed account for 50% of Zambia's labor force yet 49% of you are not employed.
