I totally get the intent behind all these "you don& #39;t have to be productive now" tweets, but depending on how long we& #39;re all home, you probably should at the very least try to be. Now what & #39;productive& #39; looks like may vary. You decide what& #39;s appropriate.
But actually, a new skill or hobby could also be a great distraction, as well as something that may help you out longer term.
Whether we like it or not, the world hasn& #39;t stopped, and life after this pandemic might be very different. I& #39;m not saying burn out at home and do things that add to your anxiety, but sitting on social media or being a couch potato for weeks or months isn& #39;t likely to help either.
Also, if you& #39;re still employed, earning your full salary, and you can work from home, you should be. If you& #39;re not doing the work you& #39;ve been paid to do it& #39;s a disservice to everyone who no longer has that luxury.
Again, don& #39;t overwhelm yourselves with activity, but remember that even as we& #39;re all stuck at home, anxious and restless, real life is happening. This is real. This is part of our lives.
