Recent spate of prosecutions in #UAE and #MiddleEast of Hindu expats for comments supposedly anti-Islamic. Of course, I don’t condone religious hatred. News that most of these were “doxed” by Indian leftists made me write this. 1/14

Yes, they are wrong. Yes, it is easy for ME rulers to punish them, expel them & destroy their lives. But who gains? Polpotist rapist butcher Indian left is invested in conflict, chaos & anti-Hindu hatred & enemity between Hindus and Muslims. 2/14

As loyal coolies of Beijing, they think this can help China & its Pak poodles. I beg intelligent ME Arabs not to fall in their trap & destroy good ties w Hindus. Arabs, like Persians, Chinese, and Indians had a glorious history when West was practically living in caves. 3/14

Then came Islam. Early years were glorious thanks to the momentum of history. We had likes of Rumi & Omar Khayyam that were giants. Arabs had their share too Al Battani, Al Razi, Zahrawi, list is long. Then came increasing fanaticism. Science was abandoned. 4/14

The world too abandoned Arabs to their fate, treating them as outcasts. It simply forgot this corner of earth, didn’t care if they lived in constant conflict & killings or prospered. India too, invaded by various forces, declined and fell about. 5/14

Freedom hardly changed that because colonial mindset didn’t die. Corrupt dynsaties & leftist academicians taught Indians to be ashamed of their own religion, culture & history. And worship the mass murderers, rapist savages & their dictatorships in Beijing & Moscow. 6/14

Then came the influence of West, now armed and strengthened by science that declined in East. Muslims become even more fanatic and backward. Wahhabi, Salafi Deobandi ideologies were invented to protect but ended up destorying progress & pushing them backwards by centuries. 7/14

Then came oil. Blessing or curse? West & its corrupting influence took hold on ME. Started a new wave of barbarism. Global left that controlled liberal narratives too encouraged Muslims to be backward as it gave them an excuse to lecture on what is good. 8/14

The oil era is ending. It is a matter of time, it’ll happen in our lifetimes, most likely. Enlightened Arab leaders like MBS, UAE leadership sees this clearly. But it has very little time to prepare. The recent COVID-19 crisis and the oil price crash makes things worse. 9/14

Barring few small states ME is unprepared. Very foundation of its recent prosperity & global influence is under threat. There’s real risk World will leave the ME to its fate & simply forget about it, like much of recent history. What else has it to offer other than oil? 10/14

Yes, today Indian poor are begging for jobs there. What, in say, 30 years? Where does that leave ME once the gravy train stops? In mutual distrust with the largest civilisation to its East, Hindus, the one with which it doesn’t have any enmity but long years of friendship? 11/14

With which it can have a relationship far deeper than with China whose cultural similarities are very few? For whose benefit is this mass frenzy over #Islamophobia in India, drive by few stray incidents? 12/14

Does it make sense to have this relationship, future potential destroyed by Stalinist left that has no stakes? Does ME share the anti-Hindu hatred of Indian left? Who hate Islam too, as shown by their reluctance to condemn China, but wear liberal masks of convenience? 13/14

Or is it better to build bridges, ignore minor incidents on both sides, focus on the future and on a world where the East is once again the leading civilisation of the world? The choice is with us! 14/14
