I need to make a thread about Kalim bc Kalim Al-Asim, sir, Do You Realize The Discourse You Have Started

So basically it's been weighing on my mind for weeks that Kalim is the only Dorm Leader in his introduction video who does NOT reference his respective villain mold, rather he references the hero (the Prince Ali song) and the Sultan ("I'm an excellent judge of character") 1/-
He doesn't seem to be driven by a force greater than "Jamil does everything for me and I Do Not Know the Value of a Dollar bc I'm just boy Kokoro Tsurumaki" and I mean that in the most affectionate way possible 2/-
The only time I've seen him suddenly become serious was in his story with Riddle, where Riddle offered to bring a pie/cake to his party and Kalim rejected the idea, saying he only eats what Jamil cooks 3/-
And then there's the color thing I mentioned in my previous post. The red and black he wears in the Scarabia uniform is simply the design of the uniform itself, he otherwise CHOOSES to wear a cream colored cardigan with his school uniform rather than the black blazer. 4/-
I know that the question of the now is "But if he were the Sultan, wouldn't he be at RSA instead?" Well, consider Jamil's job: he has also purposely made arrangements to be in the same classes as Kalim to protect him from assassins, and Kalim has a history with this 5/-
My own theory is that Kalim was never supposed to go to NRC; He was slated to go to RSA but bc *Jamil* was going to NRC, Kalim followed. There's also other hints of this such as in Kalim's Training R card and Jamil saying Kalim being chosen as the leader was (6/-
A "safe" choice.

All in all, what I'm saying is, it's a bait and switch and Kalim is NOT the villain fill-in, *Jamil* is, and he has an ulterior motive against the very boy he's been destined to serve, thus recreating Jafar's desire to become Sultan, and then some. 7/-
I stand by this theory.

HOWEVER if I am Wrong and a Dumbass I will Eat my Gentaro Yumeno omanjuu.

That's just my thoughts on the subject.
