Unfortunately, you can never really gauge a lawyer’s competency until you had the chance to work with him/her.

Nope, our social media isn’t a good indicator at all.

Parroting legal provisions to appear smart also doesn’t count if it lacks actual application.

I’ve met lawyers with sobrang bugoy personality but are suprisingly brilliant and serious with their work.

And there are some who shine in the limelight but are careless with their responsibilities and are full of crap.

Let’s not generalize or stereotype people based on what you see in the outside.

And no, this isn’t a shade on Comm. G even if I disagree with how she tried to set parameters to her debate.

Unsolicited advice.

If your lawyer keeps saying yes to everything you say without providing other possible scenarios especially legal repercussions, be afraid.
