i once thought i could avoid bein dismissed and not understood about my kinda marginalization if i just dated black men. then i learned the hard way that cultural disconnects exist intraracially. so i was bein shushed& minimized coz they wasnt latinx & refused to hear me.

anyway. i basically learned them bein black isnt enough. there has to also be a willingness to hear and learn about other kinds of black ppls plight. or theyll shush u just like nonblack ppl do.

dudes refused to comprehend in latinamerica black ppl get even less representation&opportunities. we all black but context isnt the same and the 1st world just isnt the same as 3rd world latinx countries. im not exaggerating just coz u went there for a week& thought it was fine.
