brian accidentally cut off a big chunk of his finger (and composted it !) and when i went into the kitchen to bandage it for him i surprised him and he threw boiling butter all over my socks and feet

there's absolutely nothing they could do at the doctors other than what we're already doing, nice clean bandage, firm pressure and elevated, but i'm a bit peeved
