Two fellow doctors have tested positive from my department. My friends. I am at a complete loss of words.
These two and many others were being reprimanded by our HOD nad consultants yesterday "why do you want to get tested? Just so that you can get leave?"

HOD also said to my fellow SR who has tested positive "do you remember the face of the attendant who has tested positive".
She said no. HOD replied " you can& #39;t remember his face, don& #39;t know who he is still you think you were exposed"

Extreme mismanagement by our department of our roster and duties has lead to this fiasco.
The entire surgery and orthopaedic department SR and residents were already quarantined but OUR department insisted we continue to work.

My HOD called me when I was in admitted in hospital for one day saying "why are YOU scared. Did you shake hands with that attendant, did he cough on you, you just sat in the same room and had tea, that doesn& #39;t matter"
I am so mad at this apathy by our department. Absolutely disregard of all protocols and then blaming us and residents
We didn& #39;t have any sanitiser provided to us. All supplies were hoarded by sisters.
We didn& #39;t have any lockers to store stuff in hospital itself. We had to carry stuff to and fro every day from our homes.

If any media outlet is covering this, I will reveal the name of my hospital and department and my identity to them.
We need this to reach higher authorities. This will be suppressed at the local level otherwise.
