I didnt know what to say but silence is complicity so I'll give my two cents..

We gotta uplift and support black women by excluding people who have violated and come up off giving them literal ptsd on twitter from certain opportunities and limelight in the community.
We cant allow black men who have even in jokes mistreated our sisters and mothers - joked about their rape and dehumanised them for clout to occupy positions of popularity and power because it will forever exclude and make these same spaces traumatic to black women.
a friend of an opp is an opp we know this and its coming a decade now plenty of us have been bredding people who terrorised and degraded our (women's) image.
Me myself I cant lie I dont even talk on these topics cause I wasnt on twitter in 2012 so I struggle to understand and empathise and also Ive cussed and spoken really harshly to people on here and made no exceptions for black women, which aint an example to set at all.
So I wont come on some kumbaye saint ting when I've definitely fallen afoul of the standards my mother raised me to hold Black Women to.

But enough is enough we need to enforce empathy even if we dont feel it we need to recognise the pain we're continuing to perpetuate.
We need to hold ourselves to a higher standard as black men and draw a line.

why are we bredding strangers who ran the same "Jokes" on our women which informs the real life climate and and feeds a culture rampant with every type of abuse against them.

Enough
I told some black women shut the fuck up on here when they were arguing/talking about some of the very issues I have now learned and realised are painful and I'ce helped silence when I should have amplified with empathy and patience

I make no excuses for my behaviour
I apologise if that was you and in private and personal relationships I havent treated black women with the regard I now know I should. I genuinely don't believe Ive laughed along with misogynoir or done major fuckery but it all adds up and bmt we need to do better in everyway
and lastly thank you to all of the good sisters on here who have persisted with my hard headedness @ImpassionedDias
to @blixberrie @Jils_94 especially and many more who have fed into my reflection and development at the expense of their own emotional labour
But I and we as a collective need to stop relying on them to shift our weight and start moving with ears and empathy
Sadly I was informed a tweet where I was insulting a girls hair and weave and cussed all black girls in the process.

hair and respectability is such a political thing and I was ignorant to think I can make those comments and ashamed that I did.

I apologise unreservedly
