Today was Decision Day!
After being accepted to Spelman, Howard, Towson, Stevenson, UCSC, Morgan State, & NDMU, receiving two full rides & $250,000+ in scholarships, Iβve decided to attend Towson University!
I will be majoring in Biology. My future career plans are to attend medical school, and to become a cardiothoracic surgeon.

This has been a very rewarding, but long, and difficult journey. I will be graduating from Kenwood High & Sollers Point Technical High, where I participated in the Biomedical Sciences program.
This has been a very rewarding, but long, and difficult journey. I will be graduating from Kenwood High & Sollers Point Technical High, where I participated in the Biomedical Sciences program.
I will also be graduating as a member of 7 honor societies, a Carson Scholar, and valedictorian. Iβve been a straight A-student since 4th grade, with GT/AA classes since 3rd, AP classes since 9th, and 5 AP classes my senior year.
Iβm so grateful to have been awarded all of the opportunities I was granted, from attending a cadaver lab, to volunteering in a surgical center, to speaking at magnet conferences for the Biomedical Sciences magnet, + so much more.

Senior year has been the most difficult. Trying to balance a full schedule, including 5 AP classes, life, the college application process, my business, and maintain a 4.0 GPA (5.395 QPA) was tough. Iβm so blessed to have made it this far!

I did a lot of the hard work, but I canβt say that I did it all. Having support from all of my friends + family made it a lot easier to stick to my dreams.
I would like to send a special shout-out to my mom & dad, my brother & sister, my grandparents, my few favorite teachers, my church family, + all my friends that have been my support system, whether it was in 9th grade or all 4 years!
Thank you for being a listening ear, having lunch dates with me (esp. my CFA friends

Iβm so grateful to have met each + every one of my friends from both Sollers and Kenwood, + even some going as far back to elementary school. I love you all so much, + I couldnβt have done it without you!
My journey hasnβt gone as planned, because God gave me what I NEEDED, rather than what I WANTED. Iβm blessed to be on the path that Heβs placed me on, & Iβm excited to see whatβs in store for me!
