a thread about some bullshittery i can recall from my school

why am i doing this? because im bored and i feel like exposing the bullshit anyway. i don't care if they figure out who i am. as if i didn't gained some controversy in that hell hole anyway. besides, there's only a year left before i can finally leave.

• the fact that you can bribe most old teachers into editing the grades of a student just to make them enough to run as an honor student sucks in all ways.

• there were times where it was all good and fun. we were just some people who are a "community of friends".

well. not until 2017. for some reason the best teachers filed for leaving the school. that's when i knew that every teacher that applies for that school-

has a mf 3 year contract. it's literally a training groind for teachers and we are the fucking guinea pigs. it's the admin's fault for having little to no standards at all.
it's the student's fault into thinking that it's the same old, holistic, progressive school back in the 60s

• discipline officers suck. both the class, student government, and the school's officer. the only thing they can win is a CAT competition. other than that they all suck. they never really did something effective to decrease the bullying.

don't even come at me saying that it's no one's fault. how come is it no one's fault? they clearly have the upper hand in every situation and when it's necessary they do nothing but "counselling", "seminars", and "PSAs after the flag ceremony".

• the fact that they removed all trash cans so everyone can practice "proper" waste segregation.

• the quality of education mostly sucks. i don't understand the grading system. although, this part can be subjective bc some can actually go through the repititiveness ofthe lessons like they learned something new lmao

there are good lessons too. but apparently those teachers would leave asap if they can lmaoooo

whenever i see some people tryna defend/stand with the school... i have to laugh.

• that school is literally the butt of gossips between parents, from other schools. they either talk about tgeir anomaly, or a particular student that won a competition lol

my aunt and my mom literally regrets why we chose to agree that it's an ideal school

• the only thing that remains unbothered is the school garden (which is p small). it's so peaceful to look at, even though they cut off the tree that the previous nuns planted back in the day

they called it jubilee tree. they did it in celebration for the school's jubilee year. honestly it's so precious to remember. ngl i think it housed an entity, too. maybe a fairy and a demon

honestly i can feel the death when they cut down that tree. i remember taking photos of it when i was in 7th grade. bc it might look dead, but i didn't really feel like it's dead.

anyways let's recall more bullshit before i can have the energy to get up from bed

SGO officers (basically the student council lol) basically did nothing necessary and important and made their competition like a "who's more famous?" type of thing

i'll do my best to explain this with what i know.

every year, the admin/teachers will decide on who they think is preferable to be a part of the organization. they do this for every 9th grade batch before the end of the 2nd sem

they do it in secret, i think. i think the way to know you're picked is that they'll excuse you or call for u to tall in private and then break the "good news"

THAT ITSELF.. IS ridiculous asf

seriously what happened to the "i respectfully nominate..." type of stuff

are we inventing a new government system or what bc that shit's new!! wow!!

anyways, they'll have the meeting. usually bc the school population is decreasing every year there's only two partylists

and then they'll discuss for their plans lol they create shitty posters (every year i pray they could at least edit it nice, and sometimes im not disappointed but this year particularly... based from the what the layouts tell, i can see that there is a high potential-

of this new schoolyear to flop hard af).

after they create posters and do an individual shoot for the candidates, after a few days there will be a scheduled room-to-room campaign.

HAHA THEY'LL BRIBE YOU WITH ANYTHING EXCEPT MONEY, MAN IT'S SO COOL HAHAH

i can remember them handing out shitty, girly pens (okay i admit i also went nuts for those plastic sign pens). they handed out free candy, handmade bookmarks, pins, pencils, fans-- list anything lmaoo

and then their parents would even treat anyone with ice cream!!

bro HAHSHDJJSNS apparently all school sgo's do that but still

i use lies to get that free ice cream i mean, at least they're paying for it lmaooo

actually this year's campaign was in all ways a train wreck lol

there was a useless debate with two people blabbering how they can do better passive aggressively

and the election day was like a mass survey test on who people find more "worthy"

ofc it's common in every school but here are the main topics in the mouths of every gossiper you'll come across there

(okay at some point i was one of them. clearly i did wanted to know what was going on, but if i can say something to clear their-

heads, i will. i belonged in a circle of friends which are considered "the elites" in the class. but i really only joined them when there's a gathering, a drinking session, or if they include me in their convos).

• anyways, the list

- pre-marital sex
- assumptions that a person is a slut
- assumptions abt the batch's couples
- feuds with the lower levels
- feuds with the sister school
- twisted stories abt a person from a person that is in a fight w/ them

• cont.

- gossips abt teachers they hate
- o p i n i o n s on basically anyone they can think of
- discussions abt people's t r u e c o l o r s
- feuds with the teacher

the last one is rare, but impactful which leads me to my next topic, maybe the last

• basically a feud with the teacher happens when the student does not align with the perspectives that the teacher "teaches".

because this school has more stories to tell, than lessons to discuss.

this is very very recent.. but one incident happened between-

my class and a certain teacher. and that particular teacher is friends with a lot of students. we were friends with them, too. but a huge clash happened between our beliefs. we had a problem on the final project that we had.

• these are the main reasons:

- we took way too long because no one is willing to compromise
- a lot of people wanted to lead but they don't have any idea how
- they were waiting for someone to give ideas they can agree with
- they made up excuses to pretend they aren't aware

- we lacked cooperation, time and resource
- the deadline's in a week and we still haven't finished the other tasks at hand

• it began ever so lightly. it was just someone from that teacher's class taunting us to submit because we'd miss out on a lot of things.

oh, believe me. as the director of the filming, i do not wish to participate nor give attention to such pettiness. instead, it motivates me.

• but WHY are we exactly missing out? because the project is (lowkey) based on likes and shares. half of the grade it will receive will be from how viral it gets on facebook, and from its content.

• i have to laugh everytime my classmates complain and whine about how it's taking too long. i don't usually come early, but when i come.. all eyes will be on me

....

that's just a joke. anyways.

• my friends and i worked together on making the props, working on what the play needs. it was veryyy stressful, because that teacher kept on bombarding us with messages.

they messaged me but only once. i didn't respond bc i didn't want to talk to anyone, and i was busy editing

• and then the big day arrived.

when i posted the trailer, everyone was unaware, because they were practicing. and we wrote a prose poem to dedicate it as its caption.

• i read it over and over again..ah, it's so beautifuly written.

i did not expect anything at all to be honest. i just want the right people to get the right message. but what caught their attention is my note in the end.

• because i wrote it in such a pissed state. bro, i was mad at everyone honestly. i just did my best to remain calm and steady, because i know it will disrupt things even more. and being the foul mouthed being that i am, i put one curse word.

• eVERYONE WAS AT US HAHAHA

basically that's the beginning of the feud. we said harsh things. we said immature words . we were at each other's throat lmaooo

• actually in my such-a-libra state, i was basically telling everyone to calm down for a sec and turn off their phones. i withdrew from everyone and slept to my heart's content. when i regained energy, i came back to the school with everything ready,

• there was an attempt of someone humiliating me. but who am i to care? i do not have room to interact with filthy minded people. oh, sure we can be filthy at times, but if we let it take over all the time? huh. goodbye.

it was only fair enough that the year ended on neutral terms. no one was happy. no one was sad either.
