When I make soap, I also try not to waste anythinggggg. I keep all the odds and ends to use myself or give to ppl and remelt soap to use it in a variety of different ways. I have bags of soap shavings from beveling edges- good for confetti soap or just as hand soap.

Also reuse packaging all the time- My oils, clays, etc all come in containers I can use as mixing containers later on. I have a face lotion container I use to mix colors in now.

Recyclable packaging is also important to me- when I do use shrinkwrap it's eco-friendly kind. If you buy a packed box (6 soaps)- I don't even bother with shrinkwrap.

I also try and get most of my supplies locally so they don't have to be shipped to me. We're lucky enough to have a soap supply shop 20 min away and they're doing pickups still.
