The force is with you vs. be with me (Jedi) of the past

The Jedi =/= the force

It says the force belongs to only those who are special. And must have a group to make the ask important.

It reminds me a lot of Roman Catholicism saints.

It’s a large change to the spirituality

I think be with me is powerful much like praying to the saints for intervention , but it’s a stark change from a personal relationship with the force. Now their are interested parties willing to interfere.

Ugh it leans into western mysticism away from the personal.

Reliance on the institution over the personal spiritualism which is more eastern.

The church. Etc being more important then god.
