I remember learning about reimbursement for smoking cessation counseling visits. Primary care docs get paid by insurance companies extra for talking about smoking cessation (makes sense because extra time spent with patient).

Smoking cessation is also something that is covered under TeleHealth visits pre-covid.
So by using smoking cessation strategies AND covid telehealth, he can double-up on medicare reimbursement.

The quotes he uses on the website are luring patients into something that he can't even help them with. He does NOT have hospital admitting privileges. This is NOT okay.

Eugene Gu is a huge menace. He does not have board expertise to deal with smoking cessation. he is not board certified at all. @Twitter and @TwitterSupport need to seriously remove his check mark. He has 400,000 followers and IS NOT A MEDICAL EXPERT.

2) Getting double pay to sign vulnerable patients up for smoking cessation and Covid services

Forgot to mention he is also a serial harasser and creates fake twitter accounts to harass others and also like is a major creep. Also just wanna end this by saying I am a med student. I can't answer the legal implications of this. But it seemed really really fishy to me and like a scam. And I am by no means an expert. SO MedTwitter do your thing.
