Good morning. Today we are going to make German apple pancakes.
Peel, core, and slice (1/4 inch thick) 3 Granny Smith apples (this is the worst fvcking part)
My recipe says use a food processor but ima use a mixer cuz i don’t have a processor. Mix:

2 eggs
3/4 c half&half
1 tbs. sugar

Then add
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c flour

Mix well and get all those lumps out
Let that batter chill in the bowl.

Set oven to 500°

Then put 2 tbs butter in an oven-safe skilly (you’re supposed to use non-stick but I don’t have an oven safe one) over med/high heat until it’s foamy
Add your apples and sprinkle with 1/4 cup (packed!) brown sugar. Coat and separate the apples, stirring for about 5 minutes
I like to add a little cinnamon and nutmeg, then continue stirring constantly for another 4-5 minutes (so 9-10 minutes total) until the apples are all brown and delicious
